Job Description

Summary: Responsible for clearing and cleaning tables as guests are finished, sweeping the floors, filling ice machines, and interacting with guests while providing excellent hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assures tea is refilled
• Assures ice is refilled.
• Assures bean pot is refilled.
• Assures floor area is clear from spills.
• Responsible for picking up finished trays from tables.
• Responsible for wiping down tables.
• Responsible for sweeping at end of night and throughout shift.
• Responsible for taking dirty trays and silverware to kitchen.
• Responsible for taking out trash to dumpsters.
• Maintains restroom cleanliness.
• Assures caddies are restocked.
• Offer guests to-go boxes, bags, etc
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

ServSafe - Food Handler certificate
