First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Floating: Not required (no floating within scope or to sister facilities)
National Certification: ASCP – HT (required)
BLS: Not required
Pending State License: Accepted
RTO Limit: No more than 5 days
Guaranteed Hours Policy:
Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty
On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours

Strong embedding and microtomy skills in a high-paced lab environment
Automated and manual microtomes
Cutting tissue sections using microtome and cryostat
Cutting paraffin blocks
Embedding GI specimens
Embedding large specimens
Embedding molds
Embedding small and large specimens
Skin embedding techniques
Histology cassette preparation
Microtomy of fatty tissue
Microtomy of hard tissue
Paraffin wax sectioning
Precision microtomy
Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining
Slide preparation for staining
EPIC / Excellian experience required
