work depends on an Information Systems Supervisor joining our team to

support our government client’s   activities in the Colorado locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Information Systems Supervisor supports and manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.

We are seeking a proven leader with a broad skillset that can lead a large Information Technology Infrastructure Service Delivery organization, drive new business growth, and build collaborative relationships to understand our customers' evolving needs. In this role, you will function as the Information Systems Supervisor on a program responsible for the delivery and migration of IT services and support to our customer. You will work closely to support effective delivery of the following: maintain a stable, cost effective and secure IT environment; provide quality, timely and cost efficient maintenance; protect and present customer information that facilitates the mission; and modernize technology to meet business demands in a cost effective manner. This includes all facets of operations for computer, network, communications, and hardware and software infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous coordination with operations and maintenance personnel to meet requirements for customer’s Information Technology systems.
  • Support a fast-paced transition of operations from incumbent personnel.
  • Plan for and oversee migration of external agencies to a common IT platform.
  • Maintain organizational situational awareness and initiate actions to improve or restore services for customer’s Information Technology systems.
  • Enforce IT systems policies and procedures.
  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least  5  years' experience supporting operations for a global organization.
  • Education-BA or BS in Computer Science, Engineering or other related areas.
  • Proven success in Service Delivery
  • Significant experience working with customers
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI and be willing to take and pass a CI Polygraph if requested.
