Job Description

As a Massage Therapist at this

Massage Envy franchised location,* essential responsibilities revolve around

providing excellent services to members and guests.

Daily responsibilities include,

but are not limited to:

· Conduct thorough intake with all client before every session to determine client needs and focus areas.

· Consult with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or

pain in order to determine any contraindications prior to service.

· During every session, evaluate clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and

function, muscle strength, and range of motion.

· Develop and propose customized treatment plans for each client, which include frequency for wellness maintenance and service enhancements.

· Maintain confidential, detailed and accurate treatment records of clients.

· Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.

· Maintain clinic cleanliness by following all policies and procedures to uphold a high

level of health and safety.

· Participate in light clinic housekeeping such as laundry, stocking of common use areas,

ect.

· Uphold a high level of professionalism with all guests, members and fellow associates.

Education, Skills and Training:

· Active and current Massage certification through CAMTC

· Knowledge of and experience in performing various massage modalities

Requirements upon job offer:

· Complete initial onboarding online training courses which will need to be updated once per year for the remaining length of employment.

· Complete a practical once prior to job and once annually thereafter.

· Pass a pre-employment background screening (at no cost to you), and once annually thereafter.

· Provide copies of active CAMTC license and maintain in good standing thereafter.
