Registered Nurse (RN) Radiology _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 W. Parker Rd. Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Part Time, 16 Hours; Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with call and holidays Radiology Department Highlights: * Variety of exams performed * Comprehensive Stroke Center, Trauma Center, Advanced Cardiac * Fast paced high acuity and volume facility around 120 exams a day * Collaborative Radiologist Group including Interventionalist and Neuro Interventionist * Strong relationship with ED and Nursing **Here's What You Need** * Diploma in Nursing required or * Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or * BSN preferred * Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign exchange equivalency required * One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. * One year of Radiology experience preferred * Experience in ICU or ED with conscious sedation highly preferred * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life support upon hire preferred * RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required * PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required **What You Will Do** * Assesses the patient * Plans the care of the patient * Intervenes as appropriate * Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions * Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. * Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information * Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
