At Jacobs, we're looking for a visionary Project Manager to join our Southern California team who is ready to lead the charge in designing the next generation of wastewater infrastructure. What You'll Do: - Spearhead planning, design, and construction services for cutting-edge wastewater projects, from pipelines to pump stations to treatment facilities. - Lead master plans and technical studies that shape the future of water recovery. - Mentor our rising talent and build lasting client relationships that drive innovation. - Take the reins on strategy, marketing, and contract negotiations to win transformative work. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tap into Jacobs' powerhouse network of technical experts. Why This Role Is Essential: - You'll be at the forefront of solving some of the most complex environmental challenges of our time. - You'll build your career in a company that champions creativity, leadership, and bold ideas. - You will help grow our Northern California water resource recovery practice, and work with the best team in the business while doing it. - You'll help shape resilient, sustainable communities, one project at a time. - Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. - Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure from the State of California or ability to obtain within 12 months. - Demonstrated understanding of wastewater collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities. - Strong communication skills. - Demonstrated self-starter. - Project management experience for wastewater utility projects, along with related master planning, design, and project development experience. - Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and win work. Ideally, you'll also have: - 10+ years of experience. - Strong network with Northern California municipalities and exceptional client-facing skills. - Enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring collaboration across teams.
