Abacus is hiring experienced Machine Operators -

This role involves performing general labor and operating machinery within a precision sheet-metal manufacturing environment. Operators support production by working with equipment such as CNC turret presses, hardware insertion tools, spot-welders, grinders, and powder-coating or silk-screening stations. Experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery such as CNC turret presses and other metal-fabrication equipment.
• Perform tasks including hardware insertion, spot-welding, grinding, metal finishing, powder coating, and silk screening.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Work effectively in a team environment and remain self-motivated.
• Stand for long periods and adapt to changing production needs.
• Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on machines as required.

Qualifications

• Experience required - must have 3-5 years' experience
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, 8-hour day shift
• Pay rate: DOE
