Job Description

Pay Rate: $ 23.50 / hour

We have partnered with a Non-profit Organization in the Fort Sill, OK area to provide them with a HVAC Mechanic. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the HVAC Mechanic:

#1. At least five years' of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.

#2. EPA Universal Certification.

Requirements for the HVAC Mechanic:

• At least five years' of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Mechanical Journeyman License preferred. Ability to obtain within three years recommended.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to cut, modify, thread, repair, and install steel or copper piping for natural gas or water piping using threading machines, mapp gas, or pro press.
• Requires ability to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for installation, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
• Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
• Required to be able to lift 50 lbs. up to 10 times per day.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders.
• Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach.

Other Key Requirements:

• On site role
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
• This position has set hours of Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 year-round with minimal overtime.
