Step into the Driver’s Seat

Picture your day starting before sunrise with a thorough pre-trip inspection. You walk the truck, check fluids, tires, lights, and brakes, confirm your DOT paperwork, and sync with dispatch. With the drum spinning, you head to the plant, load the batch, verify the consistency, and roll toward the job site focused on safety and timing.

On site, you maneuver through active construction areas with care—spotting obstacles, following site directions, and keeping a professional, courteous demeanor with customers. You monitor mix consistency during transport and discharge, document the delivery, collect signatures, and return accurate tickets. Between loads, you clean the mixer drum and tools, refuel as needed, and stay in close contact with dispatch and your team to keep the day moving efficiently. At day’s end, a post-trip inspection wraps it up, noting any maintenance needs.

What You’ll Handle

• Operate a concrete mixer truck safely to deliver ready-mix to customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report maintenance issues.
• Perform basic upkeep: fueling and checking fluids, tires, and lights.
• Clean the mixer drum and related equipment between loads.
• Verify concrete consistency while in transit and at delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation and return signed tickets accurately.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
• Navigate construction sites safely and use sound judgment around obstacles.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude.

What You Bring

• Valid Class B CDL (Class A acceptable depending on truck type).
• Clean driving record and current DOT qualification.
• At least 1 year of concrete mixer or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Construction background is required—experience on active job sites, knowledge of site safety, and ability to operate on rough terrain.
• Physical ability to climb, lift chutes, and use tools for cleaning and maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Commitment to safety procedures, DOT regulations, and company policies.

• Early mornings with potential weekends and overtime as needed.
